More growth for Athens Consulting!
The theme of growth for Athens Consulting is continuing strong, even through the end of this year; 2009 has been great for our organization. We’ve had three expansion offices open and we recently promoted our third Assistant Manager! This is the manifestation of a company that is working hard every single day, and getting a great payoff for it.
Dustin Woods is the newest assistant manager to be added to the crop of talent that will yield an even bigger 2010 for us. His journey to this position was a short but consistent one. He began in June of 2009, and just five months later he is our newest management team member. His strong student mentality and knack for recruiting was the catalyst for him and his team to hit record breaking standards. Dustin knows that he would not be where he is today if not for a great support team, “Rob Hill was a big part in me getting promoted so fast. We set a goal for me to make it in about half the time it took him, and I did with his help and my team’s help.”
We are excited to see this young organization grow so fast. The first two years have been great, but as the company grows we want to continue to exceed our own goals and set the pace for the rest of the organization.
Athens Consulting Exceeds Their 2009 Growth Goals
With 2009 coming to an end, Athens Consulting has experienced unprecedented growth and exceeded their goals for 2009.
With some of our clients being the most recognized clients in the world, they put high demands on Athens Consulting asking us to move into 2 new markets by the end of 2009.
By October, Athens Consulting has expanded into 5 new markets, raising the bar and shocking our clients. Since we have been able to exceed their expectations and have that proven track record we have since gained 2 new Fortune 500 clients.

In this program, Athens Consulting has a promote from within philosophy allowing us to start training at the entry level and cross-train through all aspects of business. Athens Consulting Invites Dan Piper To Speak To Their Employees
Athens Consulting invites a speaker to come talk to their employees about business and success.
Dan Piper came in to the office of Athens Consulting on Sept 21st, 2009 and spoke to us about vision, drive, having the best attitude and how to be an entrepreneur by using his life experiences. He explained to us step by step to how to maintain and stay focused on our goals.
Dan Piper was a dynamic, motivating and effective speaker. Not only did Dan share his expertise and experience with our staff but he consistently demonstrated his true concern for our success and future direction. His active participation with our staff at Athens Consulting was greatly appreciated and very effective. I know for a fact that his vision and motivation that he taught us will continue for a long time. This certainly indicates how much of an impact he truly had on our management team and our organization.
The President of Athens Consulting received numerous compliments on Dan and the message that he delivered to us and would recommend Dan for speaking and training opportunities that may arise. He did an excellent job at tailoring his message to our audience and used examples that were understandable and familiar with our employees. Dan was a true professional and did an outstanding job.

Athens Consulting and team got together in Helen, Georgia to celebrate their growth through relaxation, networking, new clients and meetings.
For Fun and Networking: The team was able to attend the longest running Oktoberfest in the United States to get in a touch of German Culture. It proved to be a great function in order to get to know your colleagues outside of the office.
Future Endeavors: In addition to Oktoberfest the team went over new goals for the future. These goals included a laundry list of Fortune 500 clients, new campaigns and new markets. Since our team has afforded us explosive growth, it was important for everyone to be a the same location to work with each other and our clients in order to keep this growth going, accumulate new goals for the upcoming year and how to accomplish them.
Meetings: Athens Consulting conducted a situational leadership seminar for the team in order to put perspective in reaching our goals and managing effectively. This will also help Athens Consulting’s team members to replicate this to future employees and keep the success rolling.
This weekend proved to be successful and enjoyable for Athens Consulting. This is an annual event and will take place again next year when we have even more team members, locations and clients!
At Athens Consulting, we believe in working in a team environment as well as developing new leadership skills just as sports does.
That is why Athens Consulting chooses to participate in many sports leagues such as softball and dodge ball.
Not only is this a way to get to know your “teammates” in a competitive environment, but also to work together to accomplish a specific goal and win TOGETHER.
It is no surprise that Athens Consulting has a successful track record with their clients and growth. Our undefeated streak in dodge ball (17-0) proves that we know how to put our leadership and team skill to use and get the job done!

Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus (HFHGC) is one of the only housing agencies in Franklin County targeting families who earn 30-60% of median income.”
They work with others to build and provide homes to those in need.
Athens Consulting has taken it upon themselves to help this organization out by volunteering at the Columbus Fair in order to educate people on what it is that Habitat for Humanity does.
While Athens Consulting specializes in a face-to-face approach for its customers, Habitat for Humanity leaned on our expertise to personalize their brand and educate others.
Athens Consulting’s team members learned what Habitat for Humanity stands for and how it benefits our community. In efforts to educate the community on Habitat for Humanity, Athens Consulting was able to sign up many volunteers for future projects with the organization. Athens Consulting will be participating in future projects as well.
Athens Consulting is coordinating a “Feed Ohio” food drive to be held the week of April 13th - April 17th. Non-perishable food items and personal care items will be collected. Items will be dropped off and collected at 735 Taylor Rd Ste 120, Gahanna, OH 43230.
According to Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity, 36.2 million Americans lived in food insecure households in 2007. During that time, 3.9 million U.S. households used emergency food from a food pantry one or more times.
The most-needed personal care items include toilet paper, diapers, soap and feminine hygiene products.
